"This work is intended to create social awareness and foster critical dialog. The representational imagery such as the children, the woman and the man are salvaged from vintage found media. Each image has inherent symbolic, political and cultural relationships. In this exhibition, I invite viewers to participate in the coloring of 2047 children, representing those separated from their families and detained after crossing the border." -Charlotte Rodenberg
